Harolyn Crandall has been named vice president of commercial/industrial sales at North American Title Co., Beverly Hills. The firm is a subsidiary of Glendale Federal Bank and serves California developers, realtors, financial institutions and the single-family marketplace.

Law Firms

Jay M. Davis has been elected president of the Los Angeles Headquarters City Assn. for 1989-90. Davis is partner in Baker McKenzie and is based at the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Consultants

Sanford Goodkin, executive director of real estate consulting for Peat Marwick Main & Co., will be redirecting his energies into the Los Angeles marketplace. The Goodkin Group joined Peat Marwick in 1987 and Goodkin has continued to service clients on master-planned communities and commercial development projects.

Laventhol & Horwath has appointed G. Allan Daum director of real estate services of its Costa Mesa office. Daum will focus on expanding the practice, with particular emphasis on corporations, developers and institutional investors.

Jack D. Crevier, president of J. D. Crevier & Associates Inc. in Van Nuys, has been elected president of the Consulting Engineers Assn. of California for a one-year term.

Christopher J. Clifford is a new addition to Langdon Rieder Corp. As senior vice president of corporate accounts of the Los Angeles-based company, Clifford will concentrate on the downtown area, assuming responsibility for existing and new corporate clients.

Toshihisa Ishiwata has joined the investment and consulting firm FLIC Inc. as manager of its Los Angeles office. Ishiwata will direct new business development with Japanese clients and serve as a liaison to the Tokyo office.

Brokers

Keith Keppler has become president of the Los Angeles-based Faulkner Co. His responsibilities will include overseeing the company’s national and international expansion program. Keppler came on board in 1988 and directed the firm’s relocation management resources division.

The Santa Ana office of Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services has announced the appointment of Patrick Kendall to vice president and resident manager.

Richard Fields has joined Tri Pacific Commercial Brokerage Inc. of Irvine as retail leasing specialist.

Debra Z. Melikian has been named vice president of operations at Sperry Van Ness, a Newport Beach-based firm specialized in shopping centers, apartments, land, office buildings and industrial parks. Her duties will include coordinating special events, marketing and business development.

Prudential Real Estate Affiliates Inc., headquartered in Costa Mesa, has named Patrick Scott vice president and regional director. Scott will be in charge of administration activities covering an 11-state area.

Bruce A. Frasco has been named Beitler Commercial Realty Services’ vice president and manager for the Sherman Oaks and Woodland Hills offices. He will coordinate the company’s expansion effort and develop a strategy to centralize operations.

Gasper Guarrasi has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president of finance and administration of the Landmark Realty Group of companies. Guarrasi will be the chief financial officer.

Fred Sands Estates has announced the acquisition of Ron Abrams Realtors and the affiliation of Ron Abrams, who will assume the title of director of business development and will be headquartered at the Beverly Hills office.

Richard A. Muller has been named branch manager of the 85-year-old firm of Daum Commercial Industrial Estate. He will manage its Carlsbad office.

ACCOLADES: Joseph P. Brown, founder of Brown Realtors, has received an honorary doctorate of law degree from California Lutheran University in recognition of his continuous support of CLU and his 30 years of quality service to Ventura County.

Developers/Builders

Reginald J. Jackson has been promoted from project manager to vice president/project executive of Morley Construction Co., Los Angeles. He joined the 42-year-old construction firm in 1985. An architectural engineer, with a degree from the University of Illinois, he was at Jones Brothers Construction before joining Morley.

The Orange County Region of the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California has announced Thomas F. Daly as its new director of governmental affairs. He was executive assistant to Orange County Supervisor Don Roth.

Daniel P. Gerken has joined Newport Beach-based J. M. Peters Co. as director of forward planning. Gerken will be in charge of governmental processing and improvement planning for the company’s projects in Orange and Los Angeles counties.

Lenders

Karinn Bostwick has been promoted to vice president, Real Estate Industries Group, Wells Fargo Bank. She is assigned to the Newport Beach office where she will be in charge of commercial, industrial and residential construction loans in the Southland.
