Iraq Orders Graves Built to Honor Ancient Rulers

BAGHDAD, Iraq —
The government of Iraq, seeking to rehabilitate the reputation of its monarchy 30 years after overthrowing the last king, Sunday ordered that graves be built for its ancient rulers.
The decree from President Saddam Hussein for graves as a symbolic mark of respect was issued the day after a statue was re-erected in Baghdad of King Faisal I.
