South Coast Repertory, the South Coast Symphony and the annual Arts on the Green festival each received grants of $20,000 or more from the city of Costa Mesa, which announced its 1989-90 arts grant winners at its Monday meeting.
The 13 recipients were recommended to the City Council for funding by the city’s volunteer 10-member Cultural Arts Committee, whose fate in view of the newly created Tourism, Arts and Promotion Council is still in limbo.
