The youth baseball coach who shot his star pitcher on a Sacramento-area highway was trying to end her close ties with another girl, according to the friend. Sara Beaudoin, 18, suggested in an interview with the Sacramento Union that coach Jesse Aguilar was intent on breaking up her friendship with Susanna Jacobs, 16, who is recovering from a head wound. After shooting the teen-ager beside Interstate 80, Aguilar, 42, killed himself. Beaudoin said that Aguilar, who was married with children, had become disturbingly possessive of Jacobs.
