The U.S. Luge Assn. will conduct a tryout for youth ages 12 to 18 Saturday and Sunday at Griffith Park. Officials are seeking candidates for the U.S. luge team through a series of tryouts that subsequently will lead to the U.S. trials before the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France.

This weekend’s tryouts, scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 to 4 p.m. each day, will be held adjacent to the Greek Theater on Boy Scout Road. Registration is $10.
