J.H. Whitney & Co. announced that it completed its cash tender offer for Prime Computer Inc. Whitney said its DR Acquisition Corp. accepted 49.5 million shares of Prime common stock at $20 cash each . . . Compumat Inc. and investment group Levine, Tessler, Leichtman and Co. of Beverly Hills, which offered $6.25 a share for the computer marketer, have ended negotiations without a deal, Levine, Tessler said.
