6 Rescued After American Tugboat Sinks Off Cuba

MIAMI —
An American tugboat sank in Cuban waters with five crew members and a U.S. Coast Guard officer aboard, but all six were rescued, the Coast Guard reported Thursday. Cuban authorities permitted the Coast Guard to enter their territory Wednesday to carry out the rescue, Lt. Cmdr. Jeff Karonis said.
