Local News in Brief : Palmdale Minister Robbed at Church
A Palmdale minister was robbed at gunpoint outside of his church, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported Sunday.
The Rev. James Griffin was leaving his office at the rear of the First Assembly of God shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday when he was confronted by a gunman, Deputy Ronald Thomason said. The robber took $15 from Griffin and fled, he said.
The robber was described as a white male in his 20s, Thomason said.
