MTM Entertainment (“The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” “Newhart,” “Rhoda”) and D. L. Taffner/Limited (“Three’s Company,” “Too Close for Comfort”) will produce a pilot for Fox Broadcasting based on the BBC comedy series “The Young Ones.” The half-hour, Monty Python-like, social-commentary humor show will tape in October for possible mid-season placement on Fox.
