Let other celebrities have their lines of perfume, clothing and jewelry. Former Miss America and TV broadcaster Phyllis George is entering the national marketing waters with “Chicken by George”: boneless, skinless, marinated chicken breasts that’ll roost in fresh poultry sections of supermarkets. George hosted a taste-in Thursday at Chasen’s to introduce the line in Los Angeles. She said she got lots of free advice in setting up the company: Her husband, former Kentucky Gov. John Y. Brown, once ran Kentucky Fried Chicken and now is starting a chain of chicken grills. From Los Angeles, George heads to Atlantic City to co-host this year’s Miss America Pageant, and this Sunday she’ll treat the contestants to dinner--”Chicken by George,” of course.
