A 75-year-old Santa Rosa man has told police he sold crack cocaine to pay mounting medical bills for the care of his bedridden wife. Martin Franklin was among 20 people arrested during and after an eight-month investigation into cocaine traffic in the Santa Rosa area, police said. Officers said they found drugs in Franklin’s truck and about $1,000 in cash and two guns inside his house. He was booked into the Sonoma County Jail and bail was set at $30,000.
