South African Rugby Board President Danie Craven has agreed to plans to send a junior multiracial rugby team to play in Italy.

The French Rugby Federation is behind the invitation of the South African side, with the proviso that half the players must be black or mixed-race, to take part in an international tournament in Italy next April.
