French Investment Firm Buys 7.7% Share of Bishop

A French investment company has bought a 7.7% stake in Bishop Inc., an Agoura Hills maker of drafting and engineering equipment and supplies.
Developpement et Finance paid $275,000 to buy 183,332 shares of Bishop in a private transaction, according to a filing with the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The Paris-based company said it acquired the shares for investment purposes and has no plans to seek control of Bishop.
