WCRS Negotiating Sale of Unit: WCRS Group PLC, which owns the American ad agency that created the popular Joe Isuzu ads, appears close to completing a deal that would give a majority of its worldwide advertising unit to Eurocom, a big French agency that already holds a 20% interest in the unit. The deal, which would give Eurocom a 50%-plus interest in the U.S. ad firm Della Femina McNamee WCRS, is expected to be completed in the next few weeks. At the same time, WCRS is negotiating to raise its stake in Carat Holding, one of Europe’s biggest purchasers of broadcast and print advertising.
