Club to Honor Torrance Police Chief

Torrance Police Chief Don Nash will be honored at a dinner and roast held by the Exchange Club of Torrance at 7:30 p.m. today at the Torrance Holiday Inn.
All proceeds will benefit South Bay charities, including drug- and child-abuse prevention programs, senior citizen services, DARE-Drug/Narcotic prevention programs, Special Olympics and others. The 11-year-old Torrance Exchange Club is part of the National Exchange Club. Tickets are $45 each. For reservations, call Bill Garrett at 320-1957.
