Two Qualify at Los Coyotes

Therese Hession from Scottsdale, Ariz., and Nancy Rubin of Palm Desert qualified out of a field of 15 Sunday at Los Coyotes Country Club in Buena Park to play at the Nippon Travel/MBS Ladies Professional Golf Assn. Classic beginning Thursday at Los Coyotes.

Hession shot a 73, which was the low score of the day. Rubin and Vivian Overture shot 78s, but Rubin won on the first hole of the playoff to qualify.
