Pay Cuts Possible: Most of United Airlines’ 24,000 non-union workers face 10% pay cuts if the $6.75-billion employee buyout of parent UAL Corp. goes through as planned. United’s pilots will also take 10% pay cuts to help finance the $300-a-share buyout. The buyout, negotiated by the pilots and United’s top management, would give workers a 75% stake in the airline and management a 10% stake. British Airways would get 15%.
