Countywide : Rescue Mission to Host Session on Helping Poor
The Orange County Rescue Mission will host a symposium on the problems and solutions regarding help for the poor in Orange County from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 30 at the mission, 1901 W. Walnut St. in Santa Ana.
Participants will discuss the best course of action in the 1990s to provide housing, clothing and food for the poor.
The meeting is free and open to the public. Reservations may be made by calling John Lands at 835-0499.
