Easy Conservation, winless in six previous starts this year, outran six horses to win the $9,000 feature race on Wednesday at Los Alamitos Race Course.

Easy Conservation, ridden by Eddie Garcia and trained by Blane Schvaneveldt, covered the 350 yards in 17.86 seconds.

Easy Conservation, an 8-year-old gelding, paid $16.80, $5 and $3. Ahead Of The Game, which finished second, paid $3 and $2.40, third-place Providential paid $3.40.
