Sports clothes valued at $280,000 were stolen from a warehouse storage yard in Carson by someone who cut a hole in a fence and drove away with a tractor towing a 40-foot trailer, authorities said.
Sheriff’s deputies said employees coming to work Tuesday discovered the theft at the LMD Warehouse, in the 2700 block of El Presidio Street. Investigators said the trailer has “Allied” painted on its side, and the tractor--an International Harvester--bears California license plate 3U63915.
