Storm Drains in Compton, Long Beach to Be Cleaned
Catch basins in Compton, Long Beach and portions of Los Angeles are to be cleaned under a $70,624 contract awarded by the county Board of Supervisors to Arsaka Research Co. of Los Angeles.
Work is expected to begin this month and be completed in December. Storm drain catch basins in unincorporated areas surrounding the cities will be included in the clean-up project, Supervisor Deane Dana said.
