Fullerton-based Yokohama Rubber has completed the acquisition of Mohawk Rubber from Heffernan & Co. for about $150 million. Mohawk, headquartered in Akron, Ohio, has 1,134 employees. About 90% of its revenue comes from tire manufacturing and distribution. The acquisition is to be made through Yokohama of North America, an Akron-based holding company of Yokohama Rubber.
