A New York teen-ager indicted in last April’s Central Park “wilding” rampage turned state’s evidence and will apparently testify that several other youths bragged about their role in the rape of a woman jogger. In a 10-minute court hearing, Jermaine Robinson, 15, pleaded guilty to robbing a male jogger during the two-hour crime spree April 19. In exchange, six other charges were dropped and he agreed to testify at trials of six other youths on charges of rape and attempted murder, a prosecution source said. The woman jogger is recovering from severe head injuries at a Connecticut hospital. Robinson, who was never charged in the rape, will be sent to jail for one year at his sentencing Dec. 14. However, he will be given youthful offender status, meaning his criminal record will be sealed.
