Plutonium Threat of Galileo Probe
I grieve for all the families who have lost loved ones to cancer, so I feel compelled to question the launch of Galileo. We must consider the possibility of an explosive re-entry that could release plutonium into our atmosphere resulting in thousands of cancer deaths. I find this risk unacceptable and hope the project will be delayed until a safer alternative energy source is found to replace the plutonium.
