DEC Unveils Advance in Semiconductors

Digital Equipment Corp. said it has developed a new application in semiconductor processing that can more than double computer performance compared to conventional circuit board technology.

The company said its “high-density signal carrier” is an advance over current technology because it uses new materials and manufacturing methods.
