P.M. BRIEFING : Japan Pushed to Open Markets

TOKYO — U.S. Trade Representative Carla Anderson Hills asked Japan today to show the U.S. Congress substantial results in opening Japan’s construction and forest products markets, Japanese Construction Minister Shozo Harada told reporters.
He said Hills also proposed that Japan send a representative to discuss the Japan construction market in Washington on Nov. 8 and 9.
