Technology Marketing Inc., Irvine, reported that net income for the second quarter of fiscal 1990 fell to $18,483 from $222,182 for the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter ended Aug. 31 declined 29%, to $2 million from $2.9 million.

For the six-month period, the computer products company recorded a net profit of $264,141, contrasted with a net profit of $625,343 a year earlier. Revenue dropped 25%, to $4.6 million from $6.2 million.

Gerald T. Hudspeth, president and chief executive, said that “although our last eight quarters have been profitable, the August ending quarter reflects concerns about recent delays and overall cautiousness of our customers in releasing new equipment and contract orders.”
