Hungarian Party Plans to Trim Fat
From Reuters
BUDAPEST, Hungary —
The new Socialist Party will sack 30% of the staff employed by the Communist Party, which it succeeded six days ago.
The new party will have a staff of 2,800 compared to 4,100 employed by the ruling Communist Party, the Hungarian news service MTI-Econews said.
“It is rumored that it is not quite so easy for a former party official to find a job that pays as well these days,” it added.
