Lockheed Agrees to Buy Firm: Lockheed Corp. has agreed to purchase a Pittsburgh-based software development company as part of its expansion into the computer systems integration field. Formative Technologies, which was founded in 1983, designs computer systems and software that store and distribute documents or computer-generated engineering information. Formative employs about 80 workers and had sales of $7.7 million in 1988. No sales price was disclosed.
