Mattel Stock Sold: Richard J. Riordan, a Los Angeles lawyer and investor, has disclosed selling stock in Mattel Inc. for more than $8.2 million. Riordan, a director of the Hawthorne-based toy maker, sold nearly 447,000 Mattel shares over the last month that he held directly or indirectly, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings. The documents said he continues to hold 150,000 shares directly and 815,854 shares indirectly--roughly 2% of the company’s stock.
