Investor Boosts Lockheed Stake: Dallas investor Harold C. Simmons increased his stake in Lockheed Corp., the Calabasas-based aerospace giant, to 10.62 million shares, or 6.7% of the common shares. Through Valhi Inc., National City Lines and several other entities that he controls, Simmons bought 122,700 Lockheed shares on Oct. 13 for $47.12 to $48 each, for a total of $5.9 million, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Simmons said he may increase or decrease his Lockheed stake or sell it.
