Integrated Resources Calls Off Talks: Integrated Resources Inc. said it had abandoned talks to sell core financial businesses to an unidentified buyer and raised its estimate of second-quarter losses above the previously announced $600 million. But Integrated said a group of senior executives had advised the firm that they intend to make a proposal to buy three of the five principal financial businesses. The struggling investment concern, which defaulted on debt payments in June, had been negotiating to sell key assets to raise money to pay some of its $1.75 billion in outstanding debt and avoid a bankruptcy filing.
