Drexel to Pay Delaware $50,000: Drexel Burnham Lambert Inc. will pay Delaware $50,000 and observe certain restrictions if it decides to do business in the state again, officials said. Drexel sold its retail brokerage business earlier this year. The $50,000 payment settles any administrative charges that would have been brought against the company by the state as a result of its guilty plea to six felony securities fraud charges. Delaware had the authority to suspend Drexel’s operating license.
