STATE : 3 to Split Lotto $4.7 Million

Three people from Southern California correctly guessed all six winning numbers in Wednesday night’s California Lottery “Lotto” and will split a prize pool of $4.7 million, lottery officials said today.

The three lucky players--who bought their tickets in Fullerton, Laguna Beach and Riverside--will each receive $1,567,250.

No players correctly picked five numbers plus the bonus number, leaving a prize pool of $1.36 million unclaimed. There were 482 winners with five of six correct numbers, splitting a prize pool of $705,000 for $1,463 each.

Lottery officials estimate next Saturday’s jackpot at $7 million.
