NATION IN BRIEF : MINNESOTA : Guardsmen to Join Hunt for Kidnaper

Gov. Rudy Perpich called out 100 National Guard troops to expand the search for an 11-year-old boy abducted at gunpoint last Sunday in St. Joseph, Minn., by a masked man. Stearns County Sheriff Charlie Grafft had requested state help. The boy, Jacob Wetterline, was returning home with his brother and a friend when the man jumped out of the woods on a rural road and seized Jacob.
