Naji Nahas Arrested in Brazil: Speculator Naji Nagas, whose dealings shook Brazil’s stock markets this year, was arrested on fraud charges in Sao Paulo, Brazil , after three months on the run, federal police said. Nahas was the central figure in a scandal that hit Brazil’s stock markets in June, bringing the resignation of the Central Bank president and the closure of the options markets in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
