Officials Seize Mall Owned by Accused Drug Dealer

NEW LONDON, Conn. —
Authorities seized a $2.1-million downtown mini-mall owned by an accused drug trafficker, police said Saturday.
Louis Atherton, 51, a native of Panama, was arrested on four counts of cocaine distribution in September. At that time, police seized $15,000 in cash, half a kilogram of cocaine and his Jaguar, federal prosecutors said.
