Nancy Reagan’s Critics Take Turns

Share

If Nancy Reagan was trying to put herself in a better light than those who have written prior books, she failed miserably. She only comes out as the vindictive woman she has always been.

She and Ronnie belong together. They’re alike in that neither will take the blame for anything. It is always someone else’s fault. Neither can tell the truth whether it is about ages or taxes. It is incredible that Nancy thinks the Contra affair happened on Don Regan’s watch. Who does she think her husband was, a bystander?

They both are takers. I’m sick to death of hearing about then. We had it as governor here in California and eight years of Washington. Since we have to pay for their excesses for the rest of their lives, spare us having to watch or read about them. Their whole lives have been make-believe and we are stuck with the Reagan legacy for years to come.
