Pacific Symphony will move its administrative offices from Santa Ana to Irvine on Dec. 1, officials announced Friday. The organization will keep its Santa Ana facility, which it gets rent-free from the city, for rehearsal and production work. The new Irvine offices, at 2151 Michelson Drive, have been donated by board member and developer Warren Bauer.
The Santa Ana facility “has been in need of repair since we took occupancy in 1985, and we’ve been working with the city of Santa Ana to seek the necessary funds in order to make the health and safety changes necessary,” executive director Louis G. Spisto said Friday.
Spisto said that the donation of space is worth $30,000 a year to the Pacific.
