Limited Inc.: The Columbus, Ohio-based specialty apparel chain, which includes the Limited, Express, Henri Bendel, Victoria’s Secret, Lerner, Lane Bryant and Abercrombie & Fitch, said third-quarter earnings rose 21% from a year ago to $84.9 million. Sales totaled $1.11 billion, up 10%. The firm credited results to its cautious strategy during the fall and keeping inventories below last year’s level on a square-foot basis.
