Hungary Red Star to Fall

BUDAPEST, Hungary —
The red star atop Hungary’s Parliament building will be replaced next year by a weather vane, which adorned the structure before the Communist takeover. The government decided this year to remove the red star--the symbol of Communist dominance--from all public buildings as part of Hungary’s democratic reforms.
