Clothestime Inc.: The Anaheim-based clothing retailer said third-quarter net income more than tripled, while sales advanced 9.5% to $48.8 million. Profit totaled $2.3 million, compared to $633,000 in the same period a year ago. The firm said sales in the quarter continued strong, with comparable store sales rising 11% and a year-to-date increase of 15%. Comparable store sales have increased in four consecutive quarters, starting with the fourth quarter of fiscal 1988.
