USDA Issues Crop Report: Farmers are completing a corn harvest estimated at a three-year high of 7.59 billion bushels, up 54% from last year’s drought-reduced crop and up 2% from the forecast a month ago, the Agriculture Department said. Drought reduced the 1988 corn crop to 4.92 billion bushels.
