N.Y. Vandals Slice Cables, Disrupting Phone Service

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. —
Vandals sliced two telephone cables Thursday, leaving possibly 360,000 customers with limited service, officials said. Repair crews were working to restore full service in the four counties north of New York City.
