Odetics Inc.: The Anaheim-based company reported both lower net earnings and revenue for the second quarter ended Sept. 30. Net income declined 39%, to $119,000 from the $195,000 posted for the like quarter last year. Revenue dipped to $13 million from $13.2 million. For the first half of the fiscal year, net earnings decreased despite record revenue for the first six months. Net income totaled $155,000, contrasted with last year’s $633,000, which included a gain of $400,000 from an accounting change. Revenue rose 4%, to $26.3 million from $25.3 million. Odetics is a supplier of intelligent machine systems for commercial and government applications.
