Iran Hangs 20 Smugglers

NICOSIA, Cyprus —
Twenty drug smugglers were hanged in five Iranian provinces on Saturday, government-run Tehran Radio reported. The broadcast, monitored in Nicosia, said seven of the traffickers were executed in Tehran, four in Mashad, three in Ahvaz, two in Kerman and four in two small towns in the southern Fars province.
