BUCKING A TREND: Although a recent Gallup Poll reports that 79% of Americans don’t trust TV evangelists with their money, Tustin’s Trinity Broadcasting Network reported a record $28 million in pledges in last week’s nationwide “Praise-athon.” . . . Trinity founder and president Paul Crouch said the money would help build more than 30 new stations in the U.S. and more around the world.
