Santa Monica : Office for Disabled Cited

The city has been presented an award for community planning for the disabled by the state’s Department of Rehabilitation. It recognizes the city’s establishment of the Office for the Disabled, which coordinates “accessibility projects in the public and private sectors of the community.”
Mayor Dennis Zane presented the award this week to Audrey Parker, head of the city’s Office of the Disabled. The award was presented to the city last month.
