WORLD IN BRIEF : KOREA : North, South Fail to Agree on Visits

North and South Korea failed to clear the final obstacles to exchange visits by war-divided families and will meet again next week. Red Cross officials from both sides agreed on the numbers of relatives. But the south objected to two three-hour revolutionary plays that the north wants to present live on South Korean television by entertainers who would accompany 300 North Koreans going to the south for reunions. The south plans to send 350 people for reunions in the north.
