COLLEGE ROUNDUP : SCC Easily Handles Redlands in Basketball

Kristen Bevis and Nora Menken each scored 16 points to lead Southern California College to a 61-40 victory over visiting University of Redlands in a nonconference women’s basketball game Thursday night. Menken also had 11 rebounds for the Vanguards (1-2).

In the Chico State women’s tournament:

Chapman 66, Humboldt State 54--Jennifer Uecke scored 15 points and Kim Takayama and Bethel Trice 12 each to lead Chapman (3-1). Chapman plays Southern Oregon State College in a semifinal-round game at 6 p.m today.
